Skaneateles Rod & Gun Club

Skaneateles Rod and Gun Club is a private membership-based shooting facility located in Skaneateles, New York, dedicated to promoting marksmanship, firearm safety, and the shooting sports.

The club is situated at 1168 Jewett Road, Skaneateles, NY 13152. As a members-only facility, access requires active membership with the club.

Skaneateles Rod and Gun Club offers comprehensive shooting programs across multiple disciplines:

• •Rifle - Saturday morning matches held year-round from 9:00-11:00 AM
• •Trap - Competitive clay shooting with scheduled leagues and events
• •Handgun/Pistol - Organized league competitions during fall and winter months

The club hosts seasonal competitive leagues designed to develop skills and build community:

• •Rifle Matches - Weekly Saturday morning competitions
• •50 Bird Fall League - Trap shooting league running Mondays starting September 8th at 4:00 PM, with a scheduled shoot-off on October 20th
• •Pistol/Handgun League - Tuesday evening competitions from October through March

Members have access to training opportunities and can develop their marksmanship skills under club supervision. The club also facilitates networking and the formation of lasting friendships among shooters.

Monthly general meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM at the club facility. These meetings are open to members and provide opportunity for club governance and information sharing.
