Geoff Davis started shooting at 14 and spent the '70s and '80s with the Albany County Sheriff's Department in specialty units, eventually becoming the Shooting Team Leader and a NYS DCJS Police Academy Instructor. He opened and operated a Custom Pistolsmith Business in New York before transitioning to full-time firearms instruction.

Today, GunSafety4U delivers NRA-certified training across multiple disciplines, with Davis serving as an NRA Training Counselor, Chief Range Safety Officer, and certified instructor in pistol, rifle, and shotgun. The facility also employs adjunct instructors including a Master Gunsmith and multiple NRA-certified specialists.
