Voorheesville Rod & Gun Club

The Voorheesville Rod & Gun Club (VRGC) has been bringing shooters together for nearly 80 years. Located in Voorheesville, New York with additional range facilities in Berne, VRGC isn't a retail operation—it's a membership-driven organization where people of all ages shoot competitively, train seriously, and build lasting friendships.

Trap League - Tuesday and Sunday afternoons starting at 1:00 PM (normal hours) - Held at the VRGC Clubhouse - Contact Joseph Kopacz (League Captain), Dan Freeman, Noram Bayly, or Russ Speanburg for participation or special shoot arrangements

Outdoor Pistol League - Located at the Berne range - Currently on hiatus; check the website for updates

Archery League - NEW AND IMPROVED targets on clubhouse grounds - Available when facility is not in use for other activities - Target points only—broadheads strictly prohibited to protect targets

NRA Pistol, Shotgun, Rifle, and miscellaneous firearms training is provided by TLC Firearms Training. Visit their website for current course catalog and schedule details.

• •New Member Commitment: All first-year members must complete a minimum of eight hours of volunteer service. Sign up for work details at the clubhouse to participate in range maintenance, building upkeep, and club events.

Membership Benefits: - Access to three shooting disciplines - Monthly membership meetings (held first Wednesday of each month, 7:00 PM, with dinner 4:00-6:30 PM) - Scholarship opportunities for members' children - Access to organized events and competitions

Established in 1946, VRGC is an active civic partner supporting Gold Star Families, the NYS National Guard and Army Reserves, Slingerlands Food Pantry, Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots, St. Jude's Research, Camp Colby, Boy Scouts of America, Girl Scouts of America, and many more organizations.

VRGC is affiliated with and supports: - National Rifle Association (NRA) - Gun Owners of America (GOA) - New York State Rifle and Pistol Association (NYSRPA) - Shooters Committee on Political Education (SCOPE)

Berne Rifle/Pistol Range: - "Carry In/Carry Out" facility—remove all trash and collect brass - Non-sanctioned targets prohibited - Hunting season hours: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM only - Dogs permitted but must be controlled at all times - Observe all traffic laws on club property
