Westside stocks multiple brands for rent:

Members: - .22 Rifle: Free - .38 Rifle: $10 - .44 Special Rifle: $10

Non-Members: - .22 Rifle: $75 (includes instruction, 1 box ammo) - Return visit within 3 months: $45 (ammo & targets extra)

No permit required to shoot .22 caliber rifles in NYC. First-time visitors must complete instruction and be scheduled in advance.

$15 per rental

Civilian shooters in NYC and the five boroughs must have a valid NYC Handgun License issued by the NYPD License Division to rent or shoot pistols/revolvers.

  • 16-Hour NYS CCW Class - Required for new CCW applicants or first-time premise license upgrades
  • 2-Hour CCW Renewal - For existing NYC CCW holders renewing after previous 16-hour training
  • New Jersey Concealed Carry - Get your NJ CCW without traveling to New Jersey. Must bring NYC pistol permit, firearm, ammo, and holster.
  • Bleed Strong Tactics & Firearms Level 1 CCW - Covers safety, aptitude assessment, situational awareness, concealment, and deployment under stress. Requires strong-side holster and magazine pouch.
  • Tactical Pistol Class - Taught by active duty law enforcement
  • Level 1: $150 (defensive pistol fundamentals)
  • Level 2: $200 (builds on Level 1 skills)
  • Low Light: $200 (defensive shooting in low-light conditions)
  • Includes 1 box of ammo. Open range training, not from stalls. Requires NYC handgun permit.
  • Tactical Shotgun Class - Learn close-quarter combat and handling multiple threats from a police instructor. Can also choose advanced handgun skills.
  • Pepper Spray Defense Class - $100 per student. Conducted by experienced law enforcement. Covers proper OC spray use and includes one container of 7% NYC-legal spray. All training uses inert training spray.
  • Stop the Bleed® - Emergency response training. Learn to stop life-threatening bleeding in 3 quick actions.
  • HR 218 / LEOSA Certification
  • NYS Unarmed Guard Classes
  • NYS Armed Guard Classes
  • CPR/AED First Aid Class
  • Shotgun/Handgun/LEO Tutoring

$75 - No NYC permit required

Includes: - Instruction from NRA-certified Range Safety Officer - Ruger 10/22 semi-automatic rifle - 50 rounds of .22 caliber ammunition - Targets

  • Requirements: 21+ years old, U.S. citizen or permanent resident with 1+ year U.S. residency
  • Return Visits: $45 (ammunition and targets additional). Visits after 3+ months require refresher course.

Criminal background check required on all new shooters before scheduling. Provide full legal name, address, birthdate, and valid ID (driver's license, passport, etc.) for all party members.

Full-Spectrum FFL Services: - Buy, sell, and transfer firearms - Maintenance and repair work - Certified armorers on staff - Complex work can be sent out
