The Cardinal Shooters is the junior shooting sports program sponsored by American Legion Francy-Burdett Post 70 in Asheville, North Carolina. This nationally-recognized program introduces high school seniors and younger youth to firearm safety, marksmanship, discipline, and competitive shooting sports.
The Cardinal Shooters utilize the National 3-Position Air Rifle Rules established by the American Legion and partner national shooting organizations. This standardized competition framework ensures consistent training and fair competition across local, state, and national levels.
