Choanoke Outfitters manages over 10,000 acres of hunting land across Hertford, Northampton, and Bertie counties in eastern North Carolina. With 150+ strategically positioned stands, they place hunters in terrain matching their preferences—swamp bottoms, hardwoods, pine blocks, thickets, marshlands, and grain fields.

Their deer season runs from early September through January—one of the longest in the U.S. Beyond whitetail, the property holds turkey, quail, ducks, geese, bear, coyote, and bobcat populations.
