Falls Lake Outfitters operates hunts across archery season (opening September 7th), gun season (starting October 12th), and spring turkey season (April-May). Each hunt type has specific weapon options and pricing structures.
Early archery hunts available with your choice of ground blind or tree stand setup. Semi-guided half-day hunts start at $275 (50% deposit to book), full-day hunts start at $400. The outfitter warns that early season brings heat and mosquitoes—bring light clothing and a Thermacell.
Pre-rut and rut hunts available during the October opening. Half-day afternoon guided hunts start at $300 (excludes lodging), full-day guided hunts at $450. Centerfire rifle hunters must shoot from elevated blinds or stands.
Over 60 acres of prime turkey ground with self-guided options. Multiple Saturdays available in April and May 2025. Call for current availability.
Falls Lake Outfitters is certified to conduct North Carolina concealed handgun permit training with live-fire qualification.
Course Details: - Cost: $125 (includes red book and test materials) - Requirements: Must be 21+ and legally able to possess a firearm - Range Qualification: 30 rounds minimum with 70% passing score - Content: NC laws on use of deadly force, written exam, shooting exercise - Credential: NC DOJ Certificate upon passing both components - Equipment: Loaner handguns available for qualification if you don't have your own
Courses run on Saturdays (dates TBD—contact for current schedule).

Hunters must have a valid NC hunting license (NCWRC requirement). Multiple hunt lengths available: 1-day, 2-day, and 3-day options. Contact the outfitter to discuss your specific dates, party size, and weapon preference.
