Rich spent his career as a New Jersey State Police Detective Sergeant, Marine Corps Infantry Officer, and worked with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. He kept arriving at crime scenes after the damage was done. That's what pushed him to start teaching people to protect themselves before they need police.

This isn't martial arts. It's instinctive self-defense for real-world situations. Adults don't need to be physically fit. Most of each seminar is discussion. Kids' classes are all drills with plenty of activity.

• •Can kids continue training? Yes. After completing radKIDS, children can attend free. At age 10+ they can mentor younger classes. At 15 they can pursue instructor certification through radKIDS.
