Full description and what we offer
Central Carolina Gun Club hosts structured rifle matches following NRA High Power ruleset. Their program covers multiple distance and format competitions throughout the year.
600x3 Match — Standard NRA 60-round match at 600 yards, three stages of slow-fire prone with 20 minutes per stage. Uses electronic Shotmarker targets and block timing. Competitors must bring a smartphone or tablet to connect to the scoring system.
1,000-Yard Match — Long-range precision competitions using F-Class or prone/sling technique. Three 30-minute stages, 20 shots each. Requires CCGCI Long Range Endorsement or results from another LR match. No muzzle brakes or suppressors.
Across the Course (XTC) — NRA XTC format with Service Rifle or Match Rifle divisions. Shooting at 200, 300, and 600 yards across five matches combining slow-fire and rapid-fire sequences. New NRA rules allow optics in XTC matches.
100-Yard Reduced Match Clinic — Entry-level match designed for first-timers and brush-up shooters. Accepts bolt-action rifles, semi-automatics, military surplus, and even .22 rimfire—basically any iron-sight rifle with manual or detachable magazine feed.
