InHER Piece

InHER Piece operates as a community shooting club designed specifically for women. Founded by Joy Allen in 2017, the organization provides firearms training, range events, and a network for women to build shooting skills and personal protection knowledge without the gatekeeping.

Monthly Range Meetings - Held 2nd Sunday each month, 4:00-6:00 PM at Eagle 1 Supply (4410 Craftsman Drive, Raleigh) - Practical drills: accuracy work, one-handed shooting, malfunction clearance, firearm manipulation - Registration required, all experience levels welcome

Training & Seminars - Women's firearms workshops and defense training - Webinar courses: "Finding Your Fit" (intro to ownership), "Don't Catch a Case" (legal considerations) - Professional instruction through affiliated E3 Personal Defense - PEACE OF MIND mentorship program pairing participants with certified instructors at discounted rates

Community Engagement - Empowerment tours and range events - Safety education and outreach programs - Support for local nonprofits (Women's Center of Wake County, Dress for Success Triangle, Food Bank of Eastern NC, and human trafficking awareness)

Their mission centers on creating a bias-free environment where women build the tools, knowledge, and confidence to exercise Second Amendment rights safely. They distribute free downloadable targets (PQP Program, precision drills, playing card challenges) and maintain a private Facebook group for members.
