Kidds Place

Kidds Place grew from founder Tom Kidd's vision—a Master Class NSCA shooter and Level III instructor who converted his horse stables into a clay shooting facility in 2010. Inducted into the North Carolina Sporting Clays Hall of Fame in 2019, Tom designed courses that work for both beginners learning the fundamentals and experienced competitors chasing scores.

That commitment continues today. The range operates 363 days a year (closed only Thanksgiving and Christmas), staying true to Tom's legacy of accessibility.

Multiple NSCA and NRA certified instructors staff the range. Russell Ogden, with military and law enforcement background, teaches concealed carry classes on scheduled dates throughout 2026. Monthly registered tournaments run via Score Chaser registration, including the "New Year's Clay Bash" (January 24th) and "For The Love of Clays" (February 28th).

Hard requirement: Photo ID with date of birth. Phone photo ID doesn't count. Non-shooters can visit after signing waivers and have proper eye/ear protection. All minors must be accompanied by a parent.
