Kirsten Morgan spent over 12 years with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, including service on the SWAT team, Crime Gun Suppression Team, and Dignitary Protection Unit. In 2019, while assigned to SWAT, she responded to the active shooter incident at UNC Charlotte—a moment that solidified her mission to prepare others for the unthinkable. After leaving law enforcement to focus on family, she founded RoseyKBar Defense to bring that same tactical mindset and real-world experience to civilians, organizations, and schools across the Charlotte area.

This isn't about punching holes in paper at 7 yards. Kirsten's courses focus on the parts that matter when lives are on the line: decision-making under stress, threat identification, legal considerations, and how to respond before, during, and after an encounter.

Meets North Carolina's legal requirement for concealed carry permits. The course includes:

• •LEOSA (Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act) certification available

• •What to bring: Semi-automatic handgun or revolver, 50 rounds of ammunition, closed-toe shoes, eye/ear protection, NC Driver's License. Gun rentals available at the range if needed.
