This range takes safety seriously—not in a corporate way, but in a "we want everyone to go home the same way they came" way. All firearms must be unloaded and cased when you arrive. They provide a rules sheet at check-in, and they enforce it:

  • •Bolt-action rifles: Bolt must be open or removed
  • •Semi-automatic rifles: Magazine out, bolt locked back
  • •No exceptions: Show up with a loaded rifle and you're done for the day—no refund
  • •Ceasefire enforcement: Handle a firearm during ceasefire and you're asked to leave
  • •Zero tolerance policy: This isn't negotiable

Clean up after yourself. They provide trash cans for targets and ammo boxes only—everything else goes home with you.

Wes-Mar partners with independent instructors who teach classes including:

  • •Concealed carry
  • •Basic pistol
  • •Women's advanced courses
  • •AR and shotgun classes

Business cards available at the range.

Wes-Mar maintains a referral list for related services:

T-REX ARMS - Tactical gifts, holsters, and leather goods available Saturdays at the range.

Mark Wagner - Firearm repair and custom parts. (336) 906-6761

Colfax Gun and Ammo - New firearms and ammunition with friendly service.

Wes-Mar isn't trying to be everything. They're a straightforward community range where shooters come to practice safely and improve. Rules exist for a reason. Safety isn't negotiable. And if you're new or inexperienced, let them know—they'll help you get set up right.
