Rack It Back Armory was founded in June 2019 by Marine Corps veterans Sheridan Halfacre and Thomas Doyle. Both met in gunsmithing school and saw a gap in the market: gunsmiths who actually communicate, deliver on time, and know their craft. They started in a small Army communications repair trailer and moved into their current storefront in October 2022.

AR Assembly — Bring in your parts, they handle assembly, test fire, and basic zero. Cost runs 1-3 hours of bench time depending on complexity. Bring non-reloaded ammo.

Full Custom Rifles — Tell them your requirements (price point, range distance, caliber) and they spec it out. No guessing on part compatibility. They'll throw in discounted Cerakote if you want the rifle finished.

Beyond AR-15s — Custom long-range bolt rifles, AK builds from scratch. They build what you need, not just what's easy to sell.
