There aren't many experiences that compare to watching a thousand mallards try to land at your feet. Northern Skies Outfitters specializes in making every trip to the blind unforgettable, whether you're hunting in a dry cornfield, shallow pond, or Saskatchewan's prime waterfowl sanctuary.
Mat and his team operate guided hunts across eight regions:
- •North Dakota – Duck and pheasant combo hunts near The Ringneck Resort
- •Saskatchewan, Canada – Fall duck/goose and spring snow geese (two lodges: North and new South Camp)
- •South Dakota, Missouri, Arkansas – Spring snow goose hunts over massive decoy spreads
- •Texas – Goose and crane hunts
- •Wyoming – Duck and goose hunts
- •Mexico – Duck hunts
- •Daily scouting. Northern Skies scouts every day to locate where birds are feeding and roosting. They adjust spreads and tactics based on real-time migration patterns and weather.
- •Large decoy spreads. They deploy 1,500–2,500 decoy rigs for spring snow goose hunts, plus smaller 450–1,200 spreads for "X field" action. All decoys are quality brands like Avian X/SX Full Body, Sillosocks, and Deadly Decoys.
- •Exclusive attention. Only one group hunts per day. Groups of 4+ get a private field and lodge. Smaller groups (max 6 hunters) are mixed together but never overbooked.
- •All-inclusive packages. Lodging, meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner), guides, decoys, blinds, calls, bird cleaning, and ammo (3 boxes per day) are included. You bring the shotgun and weather gear.
Youth Hunters Hunt Free – Kids 15 and younger hunt for free with a private group of 4+ paid adults (North Dakota hunts) or 8+ paid adults (mainland US hunts).
