Briar Rabbit operates separate facilities for rifle, pistol, and shotgun shooting in Zanesville, Ohio. Whether you're checking out for an afternoon or joining as a member, the range is built for serious shooters.

The rifle range stretches 540 yards with backstops positioned at 50-yard increments from 50–200 yards, then every 100 yards after that. Non-members shoot for $12/hour. You bring your own targets (paper, clay, or steel) or purchase paper targets at the clubhouse. Members get unlimited access 7 days a week from 9am to dusk.

The pistol bays let you shoot any open bay and use the facility's steel targets or set up your own. Same $12/hour rate for non-members. Steel targets are available on-site, which saves setup time if you're just dropping by.

Three pricing tiers for shotgun:

The range runs organized matches throughout the year—tactical rifle competitions, steel challenge events, two-gun matches, and long-range rifle shoots. Past events have included specialized categories like .22 handgun, revolver, carbine, and high-cap iron divisions. Results are posted online, making it easy to track performance across different match formats.
