MushinSST, run by James and Korey Cocking, believes preparation separates people who survive dangerous situations from those who don't. They offer personal and group training designed around recognizing risks and building resilience against threats.

Both instructors bring college education in training methodology—Korey holds an NRA Training Counselor certification and is a Registered Nurse; James is a Paramedic. They're both Rangemaster and NRA certified and train annually with top instructors including Massad Ayoob, Rob Pincus, and LtCol Dave Grossman.

Handgun-focused courses span beginner to advanced:

• •Beyond Your CCW — post-license skill building
• •Gun Handling Essentials, Positional Essentials, Moving Essentials
• •Lighting Essentials, Decision Making Labs — real-world scenarios
• •Force-on-Force — decision-making under pressure
• •Medical Essentials, Stop the Bleed, Active Shooter Response — medical component instruction

They also teach intro shotgun and rifle, home/church security, and host NRA coursework for students and instructors.

Youth programs include Eddie Eagle safety and intro to firearms. Couples training and group sessions available; private instruction by arrangement.
