Newport Sportsmen Club

Newport Sportsmen Club operates three distinct shooting ranges to serve different skill levels and interests:

Trap Shooting - 5 lighted trap fields - Fully automatic Pat traps with voice release - Pattern board available for sight-in work

Archery & Handgun/Rifle Ranges - Dedicated archery range - Full handgun and rifle shooting facilities

The club's Youth Trap Team is a member of the Scholastic Clay Target Program, offering young shooters a structured path from firearm basics to competitive clay target shooting. The program runs March through July each year with both competitive and non-competitive participation options. Athletes can progress from introductory courses through local, state, regional, and national competition levels.
