Matt and Jen Pamer started Ohio Guide Outfitters in 2015 after years of hunting across North America. Matt grew up in Ohio and hunted the continent with his dad as a kid. Jen brought her Texas roots and horsemanship to the operation. Their two children, Ky and Yona, help run the ranch and even guide hunts. You'll meet their horses and dogs when you arrive—and yes, you can ask about taking one home.
"By keeping the number of hunters and hunting trips to a manageable level for the area, we consistently offer large, mature animals for our guests to harvest. It's proven true year after year." - Mathias Pamer, Owner
The strategy is simple: limit pressure, keep standards high. This approach has built a strong return-client base, which the outfitter tracks with pride.
Anthony Tackett (Operations Manager & Lead Guide) brings 27 years of hunting experience. He's hunted elk, black-tailed deer, Merriam turkey, and black bear across the Pacific Northwest. He's taken Pope and Young whitetail and Columbia black-tailed deer, and he passes that skill to every hunter he guides.
Ky Pamer started hunting before he could walk—literally bagged his first whitetail at age five. He's proficient in both archery and rifle hunting, and has hunted antelope on the plains, elk and bear in mountains, and buffalo. Despite the resume, he stays humble and lets his work speak.
Fo Lopez learned to hunt on his grandfather's farm in New York and specializes in archery. He's also a skilled taxidermist at Huntafo Taxidermy, so your trophy gets preserved with real care.
Ezekiel Pfeiffer grew up in his father's taxidermy shop and brings that craftsmanship to the field.
