All hunters must obtain controlled permits through Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. Ranch staff can assist with permit applications and draw strategy.
Mule deer hunts emphasize quality management—hunters must harvest bucks with minimum 3 points on one side or pay a $500 management fee (guides may make exceptions). The ranch implements a stable herd management program. Cow elk can be added during deer season for $1,200.
Antelope hunts happen during the 9-day controlled season with multiple 3-day hunt windows. Herds roam the ranch year-round. Archery elk hunts run during the final two weeks of the general season when bulls are most active. Landowner preference tags may be available for unsuccessful draw applicants.
Hunters should arrive the afternoon before their hunt. The bunkhouse accommodates groups of 3-5 with custom scheduling. Full RV hookups available for those bringing their own camper. Ranch can recommend local game processors and taxidermists. Meat processing and trophy care are the hunter's responsibility after the hunt concludes.
