Cascade Gun & Safety

Patrick Maley founded Cascade Gun & Safety in 2020, but his teaching background goes back to 2011 when he started instructing firearm classes for the Boy Scouts of America. That foundation shows in how he structures his courses—patient, methodical, and focused on each student's actual needs rather than rushing through material.

• •Intro to Basic Handgun — The core 2-hour range class that's especially popular with women and new handgun owners. Covers safety protocols, proper handling, legal responsibilities, the five fundamentals of pistol shooting, and live fire practice. Cost: $130 + $35 range fees.

• •Concealed Carry Certification — A 4-hour lecture class that qualifies you to apply for Oregon or Utah concealed carry permits. Schedule directly with Patrick.

• •Tactical Handgun I & II — Progressive self-defense courses ($225 each). Level I teaches movement and shooting fundamentals. Level II adds advanced techniques for speed, precision, and handling unexpected situations.

• •Private Lessons — Custom training at $130/hour for individuals, families, or small groups who want specialized focus.

Students must be 21+ for standard classes. Younger shooters can take private lessons with parental supervision. All experience levels welcome—this isn't intimidating instruction.
