You receive your completion certificate by email. Then:

1. Contact your county Sheriff's office 2. Download and complete their Concealed Handgun License Application form 3. Schedule an appointment (usually online through the sheriff's website) 4. Show up 15 minutes early with: - 2 valid forms of ID (driver's license + US passport or birth certificate) - Your firearms safety course certificate - Completed CHL application - Military ID or DD-214 (if military/veteran) - Payment (cash or check—amounts vary by county) 5.
