About Barney Ballestrazze

Barney is an NRA-certified instructor (ID 229057753) and USCCA-certified (ID 659127). After 20+ years in corporate IT and telecom, he reinvented himself in the auto industry before moving to Oregon 8 years ago. Once here, he dove deeper into shooting sports and firearms ownership—activities that weren't feasible under California law. He formalized his passion by getting his Oregon Handgun License and pursuing professional NRA firearms training credentials to open a proper academy.

"What I enjoy most is being able to show a new gun owner that's never even held a gun before that owning a firearm doesn't have to be scary or intimidating."
