Hunt Long Range

Hunt Long Range operates as the instructional and outfitting hub for serious hunters. Based in Redmond, Oregon, they blend technical shooting education with access to premium hunting opportunities across Wyoming and Oregon.

Their Level 1 Extreme Shooting School ($1,895) runs spring/summer on 40,000 acres in Central Oregon. The two-day format covers:

• •4 hours of classroom instruction on ballistics and fundamentals
• •Sight-in and range work focusing on proper technique
• •Long-range shooting instruction from 400 yards out to 1 mile
• •Lodging, breakfast, and lunch included at Imperial River Company in Maupin

Students can bring their own rifles and ammunition or use Hunt Long Range's custom MOA Rifles systems.

• •Level 2 Extreme Shooting School ($2,895) targets experienced shooters. This 3-night/2-day summer event uses the same 40,000-acre range with hunting scenario targetry, advanced wind doping, and navigation via Polaris Rangers.

Hunt Long Range provides access to Star Valley Outfitters (Alpine, Wyoming) and Broken Top Outfitters (Oregon & New Mexico), offering both rifle and archery hunts.

Hunters camp in wall tents with wood stoves, hunt high country at 10,000+ feet, and use horses for access to remote terrain.

• •Broken Top Outfitters operates from a lodge base in Oregon and New Mexico, offering 4×4 Ranger access for mule deer, elk, and bear hunts via rifle or archery.
