Full description and what we offer

Jim's Quick Draw is built on real expertise. The owner—Jim—spent 26 years as an Army armorer, including three tours to the Middle East and postings across the U.S. and Germany. After medical retirement, he completed a Modern Gunsmithing course and opened his shop in Gladstone to do what he does best: work on firearms with precision and care.

He handles the full range of gunsmith work:

  • Cleaning & Maintenance - Professional deep cleaning to keep your firearm running right
  • Custom Gunsmithing - Modifications, enhancements, and builds tailored to your specs
  • Gun Repair - Diagnostics and fixes from minor adjustments to complex problems

Jim combines traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques. He's straightforward about what he can and can't do: he doesn't work on fully automatic weapons or silencers.

Jim believes every citizen should have the right to carry a firearm, and he's here to support that.

He's known for getting to know his customers and building real relationships. He's fair, honest, and committed to making things right if anything goes wrong. Located in Clackamas County, he serves the greater Portland Metro area.
