Pac-Nor Barreling specializes in handcrafted rifle barrels and gunsmith services for shooters who demand accuracy. Their operation in Brookings, Oregon focuses on custom barrel manufacturing and precision rebarreling work—not retail firearms sales.
Every barrel that leaves Pac-Nor gets completely contoured, polished, hand-lapped, threaded, chambered, and crowned. You choose:
- •Steel type: Chrome moly (in the white) or stainless steel
- •Grade: Standard Match or Super Match
- •Caliber: Everything from .22 rimfire to 50 BMG, including wildcat chambers
- •Barrel contours: Sporter, Varminter/Palma, straight taper, straight cylinder, or custom profiles
- •Fluting options: 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, or 10 flutes, or spiral fluting for weight reduction
- •Finishes: Un-polished, polished, or bead-blasted
You can order barrels three ways:
1. Barrel blank - Just the barrel, ready to fit yourself 2. Prefit barrel - Threaded with short shank, chambered and crowned, ready for a gunsmith to headspace 3. Fitting and chambering - Send your action and Pac-Nor does the complete rebarreling work
Pac-Nor applies Cerakote™ ceramic finish—a durable, military-spec coating that resists corrosion, abrasion, chemicals, and impact. Available in dozens of colors.

- •Muzzle brakes - Thread and timed installation
- •Thread caps - Smooth or knurled
- •Bolt fluting - Spiral or diamond fluting on Remington bolts
- •Pac-Nut Remington barrel nuts - Available with custom barrels
Submit a detailed barrel order form specifying your action, caliber, contour, finish, and any Cerakote work. Production typically takes 6 months or longer. Pac-Nor requires a 50% deposit with the balance due when your barrel ships.
Current lead time: 6+ months. Plan ahead—this isn't a quick turnaround shop, it's a quality-first operation.
