Full description and what we offer
TIG Tactical is a self-defense training facility founded by Master Instructor Hunter Allen, a Krav Maga instructor with decades of martial arts experience across American Karate, Kenpo, Aikido, and cane fighting. The facility operates in Bend, Oregon with one core mission: Never Be a Victim.
Unlike traditional martial arts classes, TIG's fighting system was originally developed for law enforcement and redesigned specifically for everyday people. Their programs teach maximum effective self-defense techniques in minimum time—no fancy forms, no belts, just skills that work in real violence.
"The chance of you being able to draw, fire your weapon, and get a one-shot stop in the event you are attacked is extremely rare." This philosophy drives their approach: firearm ownership alone isn't protection. You need hand-to-hand skills, threat awareness, and the ability to fight under extreme stress.
TIG donates thousands of dollars annually in free self-defense training to survivors of domestic violence, sexual trafficking, and sex trafficking. They partner with Stop Sudden Violence to offer free training to school employees and victims of physical violence.
Active law enforcement, military, firefighters, correctional officers, and first responders receive special pricing. Spouses and significant others train free when paired with a public servant.
TIG also organizes on-site seminars nationwide for organizations, schools, churches, and hospitals with customized group discounts available.
