Full description and what we offer
PA Steel League hosts a competitive steel plate shooting circuit at seven member clubs throughout the region. The league runs 14 matches per year—two at each club—with a full season running March through September.
Each match consists of 5 stages with 5 steel plates per stage. One plate at each stage is designated the "stop plate" and must be shot last. The other four can be engaged in any order. You've got one goal: safely knock down all five targets as fast as possible.
Your time on each stage is recorded, and your best 4 out of 5 stage times count toward your match score. This means one bad stage doesn't tank your day.
The league structures competition by firearm type to keep things fair:
| Club | Location |
|---|---|
| Guthsville Rod & Gun Club | Orefield (Allentown area) |
| Lower Providence Rod & Gun Club | Lower Providence |
| Ontelaunee Rod & Gun Club | Ontelaunee |
| Pricetown Rifle & Pistol Club | Pricetown |
| Topton Fish & Game Association | Topton |
| Blue Ridge Sportsman Club | South Central PA (near Harrisburg) |
| Palmyra Sportsmen's Club | Palmyra |
First place at each match gets 100 points, second place 99, and so on. Your season score is the sum of your highest scores at each club. You must shoot at least one match at each club plus one additional match (8 total) for maximum season points of 800.
End-of-season prizes are awarded at the November banquet to shooters who've completed the full circuit. Winners select prizes in order of finish—first place chooses first.
Missed a match? Request a "missed match" exception form for legitimate conflicts.
