The Moonshine Ranch operates a private hunting operation in Wayne County, Pennsylvania—just 2 hours from Manhattan. Owner and guide Lou Lampitelli runs both fair chase hunts on leased farmland and preserve hunts with exotic species, making it accessible for hunters who want quality experiences without extensive travel.
Fair Chase Hunts: - Wild boar (Russian boar) - Whitetail deer (mandatory state antler restrictions to maximize buck size) - Turkey - Black bear - Ram and sheep
Preserve Hunts: Russian boar, Texas Dall sheep, Barbados ram, Corsican ram, fallow deer, elk, and other exotic species.
Archery hunts use strategically placed tree stands and ground blinds. Spot-and-stalk is available with a guide. Crossbow, shotgun, and rifle hunts are also offered. Pennsylvania hunting licenses are required.
