Central Conservation Club

Central Conservation Club is an established trap shooting facility located at 1463 Sterling Road in South Montrose, Pennsylvania. As a member-oriented club with public shoot opportunities, it serves both competitive and recreational shooters across Susquehanna County and beyond.

The club specializes in trap shooting with facilities designed for both casual practice and competitive events. Available shooting disciplines include:

• •ATA (Amateur Trapshooting Association) sanctioned competitions - Official registered shoots following ATA rules
• •Handicap shooting - Distance-variable competitive format
• •Seasonal league events - The Susquehanna County Trap League operates throughout spring and early summer with shoots rotating among multiple clubs

The range features a covered shooting area protecting shooters from weather, multiple benches and shooting stations for comfortable positioning, and a trap lounge facility for spectators and competitors. A scoring area is maintained on-site, and ample parking is available for visiting shooters.

While members receive preferred access to certain events, public shooters are welcome at designated shoots throughout the year. The club hosts the popular Fall Foliage Shoot, Winter League competitions (2nd and 4th Sundays January-March), and participates in the multi-club Susquehanna County Trap League circuit. Club meetings occur the 2nd Thursday of each month at 8:00 PM.
