Myerstown Rod and Gun Club

Myerstown Rod and Gun Club serves Lancaster County shooters with a full range of facilities and events. Located at 999 N College Street, the club welcomes both members and non-members across multiple disciplines.

Tuesday evening clay shoots run April through October at 6:00 PM. Non-members are welcome—$6 per round of 25 shots. The club recently added a WOBBLE unit to their trap thrower for variable target presentations. They also host the annual Neal Dohner Memorial Trap Shoot.

• •3D Archery Course runs 1st and 3rd Thursdays, May through September (4-7 PM weather permitting). The 20-target course uses all 3D targets with pricing at $10 members / $12 non-members / $8 ages 13-17 / free for 12 and under. Special Saturday shoots also scheduled.

• •Daily Use Archery Range features 10 bag targets placed throughout the wooded west grounds, plus a broadhead target. Some yardages marked or bring a rangefinder. Note: targets removed late October through April.

Member-only ranges open 8 AM to sunset with distances of 25, 50, and 100 yards for rifles and shotgun patterning. Brand new dedicated pistol range. Semi-automatic centerfire rifles prohibited due to range safety violations affecting neighbors.

Certified hunter education classes offered seasonally (2025 course: June 12, 8 AM-4:30 PM). Registration available on website.

Monthly club meetings held third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM. Building available for rental. Club maintains strict range protocols with enforcement action for rule violations.
