Female Firearms Training, LLC

Female Firearms Training was born from Shirley King's own experience. She started knowing nothing about firearms and was anxious about taking a concealed carry class with men. After completing her training and getting certified as an NRA pistol instructor and USCCA instructor, she decided to create the environment she wished she'd had—women-only classes.

• •What makes this different: Small class sizes in a relaxed, non-intimidating setting. Shirley fits firearms to each student's experience level, starting with gun selection and safety before ever hitting the range.

• •Concealed Carry Class — $70 (includes range fees and ammo)
• •3 to 3.5 hours
• •Covers safe gun handling, shooting fundamentals, concealed carry laws, reciprocal states, and law enforcement interactions
• •One-on-one shooting portion at the range
• •Provides the training certificate needed for your permit application
• •Offered Wednesdays at 5 PM and Saturdays at 9 AM

• •Private Shooting Lessons — $35 per session
• •1 to 1.5 hours at the range
• •Bring your own firearm and ammunition (range fee included)
• •Available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons
• •By appointment only
