Homeland Defense

Tom Flinn started Homeland Defense LLC in 2022 after medically retiring from 14 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served as an Infantry Officer, Foreign Security Force Advisor, and Martial Arts Instructor. He deployed four times and holds certifications from the NRA, South Carolina Law Enforcement Department, and executive protection training.

Training focuses on real-world applications with hands-on instruction. Classes include:

• •Pistol Training — Female-only basic pistol classes ($50) plus advanced rifle/pistol courses ($250)
• •Active Shooter Response — Workplace safety protocols and emergency procedures
• •Situational Awareness — Threat recognition and de-escalation for everyday scenarios
• •Emergency Medical Trauma Care — Stop The Bleed and trauma treatment (offered at Alliance Ju Jitsu in Greenville)
• •Corporate Safety Programs — Custom training for employees concerned about workplace security

Classes work for any skill level—beginners or experienced shooters. They work with parents, coaches, managers, and service workers (servers with tips, retail staff, office workers) who want practical safety training for common situations.
