South Carolina offers the longest whitetail season in the nation, running August 15 through January 1. SCHC structures hunts around two distinct periods:
August 15 – September 14 (Velvet Season) - 4-day hunt: $1,900 - Harvest up to two trophy velvet bucks - Buck tags purchased through SCDNR
September 15 – January 1 (Rut & Winter) - 4-day hunt: $2,300 (harvest 1 trophy buck + 2 mature does) - 3-day hunt: $2,000 (harvest 1 trophy buck + 1 mature doe) - Doe tags provided by SCHC
Management standards are clear: trophy bucks must have visible horns at least 2 inches above the hairline or be tagged as does. Mature does are defined as 65+ pounds. Management implements quality deer management plans to ensure exceptional animals across the property.
Spring gobbler season runs April 10 through May 10, with SCHC offering:
The all-inclusive 5,200 square foot rustic lodge features semi-private guest rooms with private baths. All meals are family-style and home-cooked daily by Ms. Pat in the lodge kitchen.

Stand assignments are drawn prior to each hunt with coin flip challenges allowed within 15 minutes.
