Skip-J Range

Skip-J Range operates as Anderson Practical Pistol Club, a private membership facility that hosts tactical and defensive pistol competitions monthly. All matches are open to the public—no club membership required to compete.

Monthly Match Schedule:

• •First Saturday: IDPA — International Defensive Pistol Association format with 6 defensive shooting stages. $20 for non-members, $15 for members.
• •Second Saturday: Fun Steel — Six stages of steel targets. Pistol calibers only (.22 LR or larger). $20 non-members, $15 members.
• •Fifth Saturday (when available): 2-Gun — Tactical Carbine and Pistol match across 5 stages. $20 per person.

Registration handled through PracticeScore.com or day-of sign-ups.

Ten total bays with varying distances: - One 125-yard rifle bay - Six 80-foot rifle/pistol bays - Three 120-foot rifle bays

All bays feature dirt berms on both sides and rear impact berms.

Individual membership: $185/year (no initiation fees) Couple/Husband-Wife: $235/year Age requirement: 21+

Members access the range 9 am to sunset Monday–Saturday, 1:30 pm to sunset Sunday. Photo ID badge required for gate access.

Jimmy Johnson — CCW, Basic/Intermediate Pistol, Rifle, Virtual Simulation (ammoless training), In-Home Defense Training, Scenario-Based Training, Women's Only Courses

CWP Classes: - Offered 3rd and 4th weekends of each month - Private individual and small group classes by appointment - South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit certification
