Full description and what we offer
RT2BR Arms operates as a federally licensed firearms dealer in South Carolina, built around a core principle: customer privacy and straightforward compliance with federal law.
South Carolina does not require gun registration. Federal registration is only required for NFA items (fully automatic firearms, suppressors, short-barrel rifles/shotguns), which require a $200 tax stamp and BATF registration.
RT2BR Arms is not a Class 3 FFL dealer and does not handle NFA items. Their focus is on standard handguns, rifles, and shotguns.
Every transfer through an FFL involves:
1. Firearm identification (Form 4473 Section A) 2. Buyer eligibility attestation and personal information (Section B) 3. Verification method documentation (Section C)
Dealer records (Form 4473) are kept for 20 years. If the dealer closes, records transfer to BATF.
Federal law identifies who cannot own firearms—South Carolina adds no additional restrictions. Those ineligible include people convicted of crimes punishable by over one year imprisonment, fugitives, unlawful drug users, those adjudicated mentally incompetent, illegal aliens, dishonorably discharged service members, and those subject to domestic violence restraining orders.
Age requirements: 18+ for rifles/shotguns, 21+ for handguns.
