Top Gun Shooting is owned and operated by David Blanton, a Certified Firearms Instructor authorized by the State of South Carolina to teach CWP courses. He's trained thousands of Spartanburg County residents in concealed carry laws and practical firearm skills.
The training follows a two-part structure:
1. Classroom instruction — Learn South Carolina CWP laws governing carrying, storage, and discharge of weapons 2. Range qualification — Demonstrate proficiency with live fire under supervised conditions
Upon completion, students receive a fingerprint card and CWP application. Once approved by SLED (South Carolina Law Enforcement Division), you get your permit.
