Full description and what we offer
Strata Firearms Training helps churches and organizations prepare their people for active shooter threats with practical, scenario-based instruction. Their model is built around the reality that violence against faith communities is rising—and preparation saves lives.
They run a tiered system that scales from congregation-wide awareness to advanced armed response:
Module 1: Active Threat Seminar (2 hours) Full congregation awareness training covering active shooter recognition, developing a survivor's mindset, situational awareness, and Run-Hide-Fight principles.
Module 2: Unarmed Response (8 hours) Hands-on scenario training for ushers, greeters, and volunteer safety team members. Covers prevention, avoidance, de-escalation, and real-world drills under moderate stress. Up to 24 participants.
Module 3: Armed Response (8 hours) Advanced scenario training with non-lethal firearms for concealed carriers and armed safety team coordinators. Builds team coordination under stress. Up to 24 participants.
Module 4: Live Fire & Qualification (5 hours) 450 rounds of live fire focused on mechanics, accuracy, safety, and drawing from concealment under time pressure. Qualification includes documentation for accountability—one carbon-copy form for the church, one for the team member.
Spirit-Led Pricing Model: Modules 1–3 and qualification operate on ask-what-you-can-give basis. No minimum. Financial limitations don't block training.
Every attendee in Modules 2 and 3 receives a Participant Guide—a workbook designed to stick with teams long after training ends.
Their instructors bring real church experience combined with advanced firearms proficiency, giving them context most tactical trainers lack.
They also run corporate and school active shooter training through their Run-Hide-Fight program, offered as: - In-person 2-hour seminars - Virtual 2-hour Zoom seminars - In-person 4-hour scenario training
Online platform launching 2026 for churches wanting to build foundational knowledge remotely.
