Full description and what we offer
Stony Rushing and Anne-Marie Rushing founded Take Aim Training in 2008 with a straightforward mission: bring practical firearms training to people of all ages at prices that don't require a second mortgage. In 2011, they added a firearms sales operation. By 2013, they'd built a 50-acre training facility with dedicated pistol, rifle, skeet, and trap ranges. Stony passed away in August 2023, but Anne-Marie continues running the operation with the same commitment to quality instruction and honest dealing.
Instructors are certified by the North Carolina Department of Justice and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
The facility sits on 50 acres with dedicated ranges for pistol, rifle, skeet, and trap. Rifle range is members-only on weekends, but guests are welcome at pistol ranges and the skeet field. Memberships are available for regular shooters.
"We have everything you will need to complete the class and you are welcome to bring your own equipment and ammunition."
No handgun for the CCW course? They have .22 caliber pistols available and ammunition at $10 per box.
They sell new and used firearms, with a focus on helping first-time buyers find the right gun and experienced shooters find good deals. No high-pressure sales tactics—just straightforward help.
