Full description and what we offer
Turkey Hill Plantation sits on thousands of acres of carefully maintained bird woods in Jasper County. The property started as a timber investment by New York banker Jeremiah Milbank, but evolved into both a working farm and a destination for serious shooters and hunters.
The fully automated five-stand and sporting clays courses feature diverse challenges designed to test your fundamentals. You'll find classic rabbit, springing teal, an eighty-foot dove tower, and bateaux presentations across the beautifully landscaped grounds.
Wing Shooting
Morning quail hunts start at 9 AM with a detailed safety orientation. You'll hunt from a wagon with an experienced driver, work with well-trained pointer and setter relays, and ride with guides on horseback. Afternoon hunts run from 2 PM until around 5 PM, followed by a home-made lunch at one of the plantation houses. Expect to see plenty of coveys and working dog work across varied terrain.

Milbank's vision extended beyond hunting—he used the plantation to experiment with farming methods that could improve the rural community. Working with Clemson University specialists, Turkey Hill developed techniques and distributed resources to hundreds of neighboring farms. Today, the plantation's primary focus is maintaining habitat and bird populations.
