Camp Creek Outfitters isn't a resort trying to make a quick buck. It's a working farm and ranch 12 miles west of Sioux Falls that's been in the same family for five generations. They raise corn, soybeans, and cattle on the property while maintaining thousands of acres of hunting habitat specifically for pheasants.
You're not walking manicured grounds. The terrain includes corn plots, sorghum plots, CRP grass, cattails, tree belts, and grass waterways. The guides—Matt and Dan Bones run the operation—know this land inside out. They know where birds sit, how they move, and how to hunt them in any season condition.
All-inclusive hunts run from mid-September through January. Here's what you get:
| Package | 1 Day | 2 Days | 3 Days |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 Birds/Person | $550 | $1,050 | $1,575 |
| 5 Birds/Person | $625 | $1,200 | $1,800 |
What's Included: - Experienced guides (Matt or Dan) - Well-trained pointing dogs - Transportation during the hunt - Lunch, drinks, and snacks - Trap shooting warmup with shells - Ammunition for the hunt - Bird cleaning and packaging
Extra birds run $50 each over your package limit. Groups of 1-2 hunters pay an additional $500/day privacy fee. Prices don't include 6% South Dakota sales tax, and there's a 3% fee for credit cards, PayPal, or Venmo.
Season Dates: Preserve hunts September 1—March 31, 2026. Non-preserve hunts October 18—January 31, 2026.
Don't want a guide? Bring your own dogs and hunt the property solo. $300/day per person for 3-bird packages. OnX Hunt app recommended for field navigation. No guides, dogs, meals, trap shooting, or bird cleaning included—you handle all of it.
Parker, South Dakota. 45872 268th Street, Parker, SD 57053. Minutes from Sioux Falls Regional Airport, 12 miles from Sioux Falls proper. That proximity to the city means lodging and entertainment options are abundant if you want them.
They blend rustic hunting with actual comfort. Lodge accommodations exist on-property. The setup is built for hunters who want to unwind between hunts without feeling like they're roughing it completely.
