Full description and what we offer
Coteau View Hunts operates a pheasant hunting lodge near Conde, South Dakota, built on over 12,000 acres of managed habitat. The property splits between 3,000+ acres of CRP and creek lines alongside 11,000+ acres of working cropland—corn, soybeans, milo, and wheat. That mix keeps pheasant numbers strong throughout the season.
The main building started as a grain elevator in the mid-1950s (9,000 bushel capacity), then was converted into hunting lodging. Today it houses 3,500 square feet of living quarters for hunters and guides, plus a separate 1,400 sq ft cabin. Both are equipped with gas grills, modern cooking appliances, wireless internet, and full kitchen gear.
90%+ re-booking rate
For downtime between hunts, the lodge has pool tables, card tables, and gaming setups. They'll stock anything you need—if it's not there, they get it.
Their diverse properties let you choose your hunting style—you're not locked into one terrain or approach.
Coteau View's straightforward goal is sharing the wild South Dakota pheasant hunting they've built over years of land management and habitat work. No corporate retreat vibes—this is a working hunting lodge run by people who hunt.
