Jim Gigante is a former Marine Corps Marksmanship Instructor and retired law enforcement officer running My Own Two Feet Education in the Sioux Falls area. He brings over three decades of firearms training experience to every course.
These aren't theoretical lectures. Courses focus on hands-on experience with actual firearms—learning how to safely load, unload, handle, and fire. The goal is giving you foundational knowledge you can build on:
"The responsible way is to familiarize yourself with a firearm by handling it and understanding how it functions. Common reasons for misfires is negligence and people not understanding how a particular firearm works."
All one-day courses are $100 per person (includes range fees and taxes). Minimum 4 students required per course.
Will travel for groups of 8 or more (location must provide classroom and range facility).
