Sioux River Hunt Club

Sioux River Hunt Club operates as an all-inclusive pheasant hunting lodge 4 miles north of Bruce, South Dakota. The operation books one hunting group at a time—your group only—which means you get the full attention of Scott Vomacka and his staff throughout your stay.

Every hunting package covers: - Experienced guides and trained hunting dogs - Transportation to and from the fields - Three hot, home-cooked meals daily plus after-hunt appetizers - Lodging at The Lodge with fresh linens and laundry facilities - Bird processing and freezing - Sporting clay thrower access - 3 bird limit per day per person - Beverages (non-alcoholic)

• •50% deposit required within 10 days of booking. Deposits non-refundable unless you fill the slot with another hunter. 6% sales tax applies. Credit cards accepted with 4% handling fee.

The lodge sits on land that's been developed over a decade with conservation practices focused on natural pheasant habitat. Over a decade of development means consistent bird populations year after year. Hunting days are limited to select weekends per season to maintain the population.

You'll start with a hot breakfast, then load up the bus with your group, gear, and dogs for the morning hunt. Lunch back at The Lodge gives everyone a break. Most groups head back out in the afternoon to complete their daily limit. Dinner is served around 5 PM with appetizers and a full meal. Evenings are for relaxing—TV, cards, drinks, and the fire pit overlooking the river.
