Founded in 2008 by Rene' Hashe Keplinger, a former Army MASH nurse who served during Desert Shield/Storm, All American Handgun School brings real-world defensive experience to every class. All instructors are US military veterans—including Air Force, Marine, and Army Special Ops backgrounds—with state and NRA certifications.
Handgun Permit Classes - Enhanced Handgun Permit Class (TN/VA concealed carry) - One-day format: 4 hours classroom + range qualification - Must shoot 50 rounds safely and accurately - $100 per student
Basic Handgun Training - How guns work, different handgun types, loading, stance, aim, safety - Range time with variety of firearms to try before buying - Guns and ammo provided; bring your own for extra practice - 4-5 hours | $100
Common Sense Self Defense - For civilians in everyday situations (work, school, public spaces) - Focus on awareness, avoidance, and escape—not martial arts - Ages 12 and up - 2-2.5 hours | $40 - Available at your location
Specialized Training - Defensive Pistol classes - Basic Shotgun courses - Gun Cleaning workshop (disassembly, cleaning, reassembly) - Small classes, 1-2 hours | $30
Private Range: All training happens on a private shooting range. Class sizes stay at 10 or fewer by design (maximum 20). Group and private classes available on your schedule.
