Outpost Armory

Outpost Armory combines a gun store, shooting range, and training facility in Murfreesboro. Their range setup includes 15-yard, 25-yard, and 100-yard lanes—the 100-yard tubes are available anytime for members. The retail side stocks commonly sought firearms and hard-to-find inventory; if it's not on the shelf, staff can order it.

They run structured courses across multiple skill levels:

• •First Shots – New or prospective gun owners covering safety, gun selection, fundamentals, and TN law
• •TN Enhanced Carry Permit – Legal requirements, use of force, and permit application process
• •Defensive Pistol 1-4 – Progressive skill building from fundamentals through advanced techniques
• •Red Dot Pistol 1-2 – Handgun shooting with modern optics
• •Low Light Pistol 1-2 – Operating a defensive handgun in darkness
• •AR Fundamentals & Defensive AR 1-2 – Rifle platform and defensive carbine skills
• •Shotgun Fundamentals – Shotgun operation and fundamentals
• •Tac Med – Tactical casualty care and wound treatment (3 hours)
• •OC/Pepper Spray User Course – Non-lethal defense tactics (3 hours)

They also offer personal instruction, special events, run-and-gun competitions, and private events.
