Patriot Shooting Academy

Patriot Shooting Academy offers firearms training across pistols, shotguns, rifles, and carbines. Instructors are certified by both the NRA and Tennessee State Handgun Safety Program, running courses from absolute beginner to advanced.

• •Basic Pistol ($85) - Entry point covering fundamentals: gun safety rules, handgun nomenclature, grip, stance, sight alignment, and sight picture. Designed for shooters with little or no experience. Bring 200 rounds.

• •Practical Pistol I ($125, full day) - Solid shooting skills for self-defense or competition. Covers grip, trigger control, target acquisition, recoil management, draw stroke, strong/support hand shooting, and reloads. Requires 300-400 rounds.

• •Practical Pistol II ($150, full day) - Builds on Pistol I with shooting from different positions, moving targets, cover utilization, drawing from concealment, and shooting on the move. Plan for 500-600 rounds.

• •Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit Course ($65, full day 9am-5pm) - State-required course covering handgun function, safety, cleaning, storage, legal liabilities, and range exercises. Certified instructors handle the state application process.
