Clear Creek Gun Range operates as an open outdoor facility with zero membership fees—you pay per visit. Located on Gun Range Road in League City, they've been the area's go-to range for over four decades.
The range handles rifle, pistol, and shotgun with separate supervised firing lines. You can bring your own clay targets to throw, or use approved stationary targets. Steel shot is required for traps (available on-site); lead shot is allowed elsewhere on the range.

Military shooters get a discount on range fees. Call ahead during hunting season for extended hours.
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 7 days a week (last shooters in at 6:00 PM). Extended hours available during hunting season—call ahead for specifics.
The range enforces strict field rules: firearms must be unloaded with breech open when brought in or while shooters are downrange. Mandatory ear and eye protection. All shooters follow the Rangemaster's fire/cease-fire commands on 15-minute intervals. No holsters at the range. Minors must stay within immediate supervision of a parent or guardian—the adult cannot shoot while supervising.
Empty brass becomes range property, but you're welcome to collect your own.
