Conceal Carry Academy teaches Texas License to Carry (LTC) courses entirely online, letting you complete the classroom requirement from home with just an internet connection and a device.
Online Portion: Video lessons cover everything required for your Texas LTC. Progress saves automatically—no scrambling to find where you left off. Download your certificate immediately after completion.
Shooting Requirement: Take your certificate to a local instructor to complete the range portion. Some applicants are exempt from shooting and can apply directly after the online class.
Texas DPS typically issues licenses within about 60 days after application
A Texas LTC allows you to: - Carry concealed legally across 37 reciprocal states - Skip the wait at dealer counters during background checks - Have direct interaction with law enforcement - Unlock additional legal protections under Texas law
Your class certificate is valid—if you're exempt from the shooting requirement (military, corrections, certain other categories), you can apply immediately after completing the online course.
