Kaase Concealed Handgun School teaches handgun safety, proficiency, and the legal framework for carrying in Texas. They run three regular class locations:

Their core offering covers Texas carry laws, use of force, self-defense scenarios, and live fire qualification. Classes use PowerPoint presentations, scenarios, and open discussion in a relaxed environment. They handle all required state paperwork.
Pricing: - Citizens: $55 - Veterans/Active Duty/Corrections: $50 (with live fire) or $40 (without) - Online-only students: $40 (live fire qualification only) - LEOSA renewal qualification: $50
Just The Laws Non-Permit Carry ($25) — For those carrying under permit-less carry law. Covers legal carry methods, restricted locations, reciprocity with other states, and deadly force law. Runs 2-3 hours and can be combined with full LTC certification.
Introduction to Pistol/Basic Pistol ($75) — Small, hands-on classes for new shooters or novices wanting to build proper technique. Private instruction, 2-3 hours.
Advanced Shooting Tactics ($150) — For intermediate to advanced shooters. Intense training on two-handed and one-handed shooting, tactical reloads, malfunction drills, multiple positions, barricade shooting, stress shooting, and low-light scenarios. This is physically demanding and only recommended for proficient shooters.
Basic Pistol for Children ($75) — Ages 8-17, custom instruction with parent participation encouraged. Private, hands-on format.
Bruce Kaase was one of only 12 LTC instructors in Texas selected by the Department of Public Safety to become a certified School Safety Officer Instructor.
This is the state-mandated two-day program for school staff with LTC permits who want to defend against active shooters. Training covers avoidance, denial of entry, and active defense using realistic drills in actual school environments. Includes live-fire proficiency work at the range.
